The US and UK are now in the process of continuing "excavations".  To what end?

There is much information and misinformation on this topic.  The perspectives range from the foundation of a totalitarian one world government, to blueprints for global depopulation, to plain old environmentalism.  Most either revile it as a great horror or have not heard of it.
